General Questions

All users will need to register for the Hangar Developer Program regardless of previous access to the legacy website. Please sign up here.
A software development kit (SDK) is a set of developmental tools to create customized applications to enhance the experience on Panasonic's patented inflight entertainment seatback and portal technology. It enriches applications with features such as advertising and media for both seatback and passenger portal.
Third party developers and airlines with the desire to develop customized applications.

As a member, you'll get access to download SDKs, sample source codes, emulator documentation, and technical support.
Once a user becomes a member, non-coding technical support during the development phase, access to software development kits, application programming interfaces (APIs) that are developed by Panasonic are given. Excluded: Integration & entry-into-service testing is managed through a Change Request.
Developmental coding support, mini rack for development testing, integration, and entry-into-service testing hardware and support staff by Panasonic are excluded.

Yes, a Mini Rack is chargeable by the hour. Please contact your Panasonic focal for a quote.
Once your ticket is received, Panasonic representative will confirm the mini rack availability. If the requested dates are not available, alternate dates are provided for your confirmation. Unless the core software versions, database versions and media versions are specified in the ticket, only the latest core software will be installed. It takes anywhere between 4-6 days to set up a mini rack if there is one available with the specified configuration. Only after the dates are confirmed by Panasonic, please submit a On-site visit form to confirm your visit.

Becoming a Member

Register online here. The process is as follows:
 
After registering online, your application will be reviewed by Panasonic. Once your application is approved, a contract must be in place between the developer and Panasonic.

Upon contract completion, you will receive an email confirmation with developer access credentials.

Once logged in, you now have the ability to download SDKs and access developer resources online! Sign in here
